Common Questions

Questions we get a lot.

How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, we recommend reaching out 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak New England dates (May through October). That said, we do take last-minute bookings when our calendar allows, so it never hurts to ask.
Do you travel outside of Boston?
Yes, all the time. We shoot all across New England including Cape Cod, the North Shore, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. Travel fees may apply for destinations more than 50 miles from Peabody, MA.
How many photographers will be there?
Most of our wedding packages include both Cam and Maggie. Having two photographers means we can cover both of you getting ready simultaneously and capture moments from multiple angles throughout the day.
When will we receive our photos?
Wedding galleries are delivered within 6 to 8 weeks. Portrait and headshot sessions are typically delivered within 2 weeks. We send sneak peeks within 48 to 72 hours for most sessions.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, and we highly recommend them. An engagement session gets you comfortable in front of the camera and lets us get to know each other before your wedding day. It's included in some packages and available as an add-on in others.
What is your payment and cancellation policy?
We require a retainer to hold your date, with the remainder due before your event. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are clearly outlined in your contract. We handle everything through HoneyBook so it is all in one place.
Can we see full wedding galleries?
Absolutely. We are happy to share complete galleries from past weddings during a discovery call so you can see the full range of our work, not just the highlight shots from our portfolio.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain makes for some of our most beautiful photos. We come prepared with backup plans, creative indoor setups, and a calm attitude. Some of our absolute favorite galleries have been rainy day weddings. We have got you.
