The Wedding Process
Each of our couples follow this process a bit differently, but here’s the general flow so you know when to expect to hear from us. At any point throughout the process we encourage you to ask questions via email, or schedule a call with Maggie using Calendly.
1. Intro/Inquiry --> Initial Questionnaire
You’re in the market for a wedding photographer and are interested in knowing if TFP could be the team for you. Once you reach out, we send over an initial questionnaire for us to get a feel for your day so we can build your custom quote.
Typically 12-15 months out from wedding2. Discovery Call --> Payment Plan
We hop on a video call to further discuss the details and dive into your custom quote. We go over all of your options and any necessary adjustments to the packages. Your custom quote is held for 3 weeks, and if we are a good fit, we determine the best payment structure for your investment.
Typically within 1-2 weeks of initial contact3. Engagement Shoot Prep --> Engagement Session*
If your package includes a complimentary engagement session, we send over another questionnaire regarding your love story. We use this to collaborate where and what to shoot to celebrate your love; a great opportunity for us to get you comfortable in front of our camera! Then we go ahead and shoot, these pictures are a great way to design your save the dates!
Typically 9 months out from wedding4. Follow up Questionnaire --> Touchbase Call*
Not all couples need this step, but for those looking for a little more support in the planning side can have another touchpoint to check in & ensure things are moving along while you plan!
Typically 3-4 months out from wedding5. Final Questionnaire --> Final Consult
As the final details start to fall into place, we have one last questionnaire to ensure we have all the details in order. We meet roughly 2 weeks out from your wedding to plan the flow of the day and keep our I’s dotted and our T’s crossed so the day of the wedding you don’t have to think!
Typically 1 month out from wedding6. Celebrate & Capture Wedding Day
The day you’ve been planning finally arrives, and in the blink of an eye it’s over. We capture the photos on our list while encouraging you to stay present and enjoy the day. Your photos are the only part of the day that lasts forever!
The countdown is over!7. Gallery Delivery --> Album/Keepsake Design
Once your photos are hand-edited, you receive a Pixieset gallery to favorite, download, share, and even mark photos private. Maggie helps you design your thank you cards, albums, and/or keepsakes to cherish the memories for a lifetime!
Galleries are typically turned around in 60-90 days. Album designs happen in February and August for the season.
